The 2nd Annual Back to School Bash will be held @ the Pike County Fairgrounds on August 12th. Last year they served over 1000 local kids with bookbags and school supplies. Plus, clothing, shoes, and hygiene products.
This year, they are extending the invite to students at Valley; we hope you can help us spread the word to local families!

Peewee Cheerleading sign ups are open. In person sign ups will be held during uniform fittings on July 20, July 24th, and July 27th from 6-8pm at the Elementary entrance. Any cheerleader signed up after July 31st will not be guaranteed a uniform for opening day. If you have any questions please see their Facebook page at Valley Peewee FootballCheerleading.
Valley Elementary Kindergarten Camp Registration
Valley Elementary will be hosting "Kindergarten Camp" for our incoming Kindergarten students. The purpose of Kindergarten Camp is to allow your child to get to know our Kindergarten teachers and become familiar with our school before the school year begins. Kindergarten camp will be on August 7th, 8th, and 9th. You are able to send your child to our morning session which begins at 9:00 and ends at 11:30 or our afternoon session which begins at 12:30 and ends at 3:00. If your child is entering Pre-K or is repeating Kindergarten, they do not need to attend. Please fill out the link below to register your child for Kindergarten camp.

Baseball and Softball at Oak Hill are both canceled for tonight. Softball rescheduled for May 11th and Baseball May 12th
Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-2024 School Year Opens May 1st on FinalForms
Go to www.valleyls.org and select the Enrollment Tab to start the enrollment process.
Kindergarten Screenings will be given to all new enrollments.
Screenings will take place at the following times:
Monday, May 15th 3-7 pm
Tuesday, May 16th 10 am - 7 pm

Please bring the following documentation to your appointment:
1. Copy of Legal Birth Certificate (Issued by Health Department not the hospital copy)
2. Immunization Record
3. Social Security Card
4. Custody documents (If Applicable)
5. Legal Guardian’s Photo ID
6. Proof of Residence (Current utility bill, rental agreement, etc.)
